Duncan McNiff is an institutional retirement plan advisor based in Warren, NJ.

CAPTRUST welcomed Duncan in 2021, and he currently serves as a senior vice president and financial advisor. Duncan brings over a decade of experience working with institutional clients and plan sponsors, including support for defined contribution, defined benefit and non-qualified plans.

Duncan joined CAPTRUST from Portfolio Evaluations, Inc., where he served as a senior fiduciary consultant for the firm. He consulted with clients across a range of industries, including manufacturing, technology, medicine, and law, as well as with not-for-profit organizations. His work focused on fiduciary governance, investment lineup creation and oversight, retirement plan design and recordkeeper fee benchmarking studies. Duncan received a Bachelor of Arts degree in politics from Princeton University, and has certificates in political theory, Chinese language, and East Asian studies. He is a fluent speaker of French and Mandarin Chinese.

Outside of work, Duncan enjoys reading and chasing after his two boys.
