Jake D. Miller is a wealth management financial advisor based in Salt Lake City, UT.

Jake joined CAPTRUST in 2022 and serves as a financial advisor, relationship manager. He works to provide unbiased, comprehensive financial advice to our private wealth clients through long-lasting trusted relationships. Jake’s background is in accounting, and he previously served as an auditor for Eide Bailly and as a controller for Hunt Electric, Inc.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Southern Utah University and a Master of Accountancy degree from Southern Utah University.

Outside of the office, Jake enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, exploring the mountains. He is also passionate about soil health and how to be a better land steward by implementing regenerative agriculture principles on his family farm.
