John D. Jenkins is a wealth management financial advisor based in Wichita, KS.

John joined CAPTRUST in 2022 from Frontier Wealth Management and serves as a senior vice president and financial advisor. Prior to joining Frontier, he was a senior vice president and wealth advisor at UBS.

John earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration with a minor in economics from Wichita State University, as well as Master of Business Administration and Master of Arts in computer resource management degrees from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. He began his career with Bank of America, followed by 10 years at the Boeing Company.

John is involved with his community through his church and his support of local charities, including Masonic Lodge, Child Start, and the Wichita Children’s Home. He is currently a board member at the Steve Clark Branch of the YMCA. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kira, and their children, Allie (and son-in-law Erick) and Doug (and daughter-in-law Dallas).
