Kristi Bieber Gibbs is an institutional advisor based in Chicago, IL.

CAPTRUST welcomed Kristi to the firm in 2021. As a principal, she has over 30 years of insight and experience in the investment advisory and retirement services industries. Kristi works alongside endowment/foundations, corporate retirement plans with a focus on defined contribution, insurance plans and high net worth individuals and families to help solve their biggest challenges. She is an expert in developing innovative and effective solutions for clients.

Kristi joined us from Ellwood Associates—a comprehensive financial services firm where she served as a senior consultant. In this role, she served as the primary consultant to several Ellwood clients focusing on corporate retirement plans, endowments, foundations, and family offices. During various periods over the last 30 years, Kristi has lead the traditional manager research effort and lead the fixed income manager research team. Kristi earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in business management from Iowa State University.

Outside of work, Kristi enjoys traveling with her husband and four children. She serves her community by being a board member and treasurer of the Elmhurst Art Museum whose mission is to make art accessible to all. Besides volunteering at the local Ronald McDonald House, Kristi is a finance committee member at Epiphany Lutheran Church.
