Mariska Witt Roney is a wealth management financial advisor based in New Orleans, LA.

CAPTRUST welcomed Mariska in 2021. In her role as director, she specializes in tax compliance and consulting for high-net-worth individuals and family-owned businesses in a variety of industries.

Mariska joined CAPTRUST from Crescent Capital Consulting, where she served as the executive vice president of Tax Services.  Prior to joining Crescent Capital Consulting, Mariska spent 15 years in KPMG’s New Orleans office where she served clients in the Family Office and Private Client Services practice and was a national instructor on various tax topics.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Louisiana State University (LSU) and holds the Certified Public Accountant designation. Mariska is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants.

Outside of work, Mariska enjoys cooking and finding ways to convert traditional recipes to healthier versions using anti-inflammatory ingredients; live music; LSU football (Geaux Tigers!); and spending time with family and friends.
