Nick Mellone is a wealth management financial advisor based in Washington, DC.

Nick joined CAPTRUST in 2023 and serves as a vice president and financial advisor. He takes a behavioral investment approach to help individual investors, families, and institutions simplify the complex world of financial planning and investment management. As the client’s fiduciary, Nick is responsible for helping clients identify blind spots in their financial lives and access additional opportunities that enrich their financial well-being.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in applied economic management from Virginia Tech. He holds both the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations. Outside of the office, he is passionate about health and fitness and has completed three Boston Marathons. He also enjoys playing ice hockey and golf.
