According to Giving USA, Americans gave a record $471.44 billion in 2020. Of that, individuals represented 69 percent of all charitable giving ($324.10 billion), up 2.2 percent over the previous year. For many nonprofits, 2020 was anything but a normal year for donations, with some organizations hitting record highs and others record lows. With the potential for tax law changes on the horizon, now is a great time for nonprofits to take a closer look at their donor strategies and plan for the remainder of 2021 and beyond.
In this webinar recording, Eric Bailey, CAPTRUST’s head of endowments and foundations, along with Jennifer Arps, a tax and financial planning advisor, along with Ashley|Rountree founder and president Jeffrey Ashley discuss:
- Broad-based donor development
- Tax planning considerations for nonprofits and donors
- Successful donor strategies
