Brendan Hyde is an institutional retirement plan advisor based in Melville, NY.

Brendan works with plan sponsors to manage corporate retirement plans, including 401(k), 403(b), and nonqualified deferred compensation (NQDC) plans. He helps clients maintain plan compliance, conduct investment due diligence, and position participants to maximize the benefits of their retirement programs.

Before joining CAPTRUST through Compass Advisors, Brendan held a variety of retirement plan roles with Principal Financial Group, including participant education, client relationship management, and business development. He later joined Transamerica Retirement Solutions, where he focused on acquiring new retirement plan clients with assets ranging from $5 million to $100 million.

Brendan earned his Bachelor of Science in economics from State University of New York at Cortland.

Originally from Massachusetts, Brendan is a devoted Boston sports fan who spends his free time coaching his two sons’ sports teams and playing men’s league hockey. He also enjoys working on his 1965 Mustang Fastback and is a Certified Bourbon Steward.
