Catherine Ellis is an institutional retirement plan advisor based in Austin, TX.

Catherine utilizes a client-centric approach to help retirement plan sponsors, investment committees, and board members create and implement plan initiatives to improve retirement outcomes for their people.

Catherine joined CAPTRUST’s Austin, Texas, office as a financial advisor responsible for helping institutional retirement plan sponsors prioritize and execute on plan design initiatives. She specializes in institutional investment consulting, asset allocation, retirement income solutions, defined contribution and defined benefit plans, and nonqualified and nonprofit plans.

Catherine served as a vice president, regional retirement consultant, for American Century Investments prior to joining CAPTRUST. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from Missouri Western State University, where she played volleyball. She has worked in the industry since 2006.

When she is not in the office, you can find her running or biking the local roads and area trails. She is an avid participant in marathons, half marathons, and other long-distance road running competitions. Catherine loves being outdoors and being in nature almost as much as she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children.
