Denise plays a pivotal role in steering the success of the Alexandria, Virginia office. She oversees critical functions such as marketing, client service, and IT, ensuring each sector operates seamlessly to enhance the client experience and drive the branch’s growth. Working closely with the CEO and the broader management team, Denise is instrumental in shaping the firm’s strategic vision and executing the strategic plan, positioning CAPTRUST for sustained success and innovation in the financial services industry.

Denise has been a stalwart in the financial services sector since 1995, with a refined focus on wealth management operations since 2016.

Her career spans more than 25 years in operational management, supporting both national and local firms within the financial and banking arenas. Her journey began as a licensed Series 7 registered representative, setting the foundation for subsequent key roles at prominent organizations such as the Investment Company Institute, GMAC Commercial Mortgage, and the Rushmore Funds/FBR National Bank, where she excelled as vice president of transfer agent operations.

Before her tenure at CWM, Denise served as the director of operations at another distinguished wealth management firm in Northern Virginia.

Committed to community service, Denise is an active volunteer with Food for Neighbors, a non-profit organization that helps feed local students and their families when school is not in session, showcasing her dedication to giving back and making a positive impact on her local community.

Denise holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Outside of her professional commitments, she is dedicated to spending quality time with her three children, relishing the new phase of their lives as young adults. She has a passion for travel and outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, tennis, running, and boating.
