Rita Kiesler is senior director of institutional operations at CAPTRUST, based in Raleigh, NC.

Rita oversees the people, processes, and technology that support service delivery for institutional clients. She collaborates closely with advisors, client service teams, and business partners to drive operational excellence, improve efficiency, and develop scalable solutions that enhance the client experience.

Before joining CAPTRUST in 2006, Rita held a variety of client service and operations roles across the financial services industry, including mutual funds, banking, brokerage, retirement plans, and investment management. She began her CAPTRUST career as a client management consultant supporting advisors and institutional clients and later advanced into leadership roles focused on training, operational excellence, and process improvement.

Rita earned her Bachelor of Arts in English language and literature from Rutgers University.

In her free time, Rita enjoys reading, attending live music and Broadway performances, and spending time with her family while supporting causes that are meaningful to her, including autism advocacy and education.
