Tonja Truesdell is an institutional financial advisor based in Raleigh, NC.

Tonja provides holistic investment and fiduciary services to institutional clients, including nonprofits and retirement plan sponsors. Her areas of expertise include fiduciary oversight, investment program design, development of investment policy statements, vendor management, investment manager search and selection, and employee financial wellness programs. Prior to joining CAPTRUST, she worked in investment management servicing both institutional clients and consultants.

Tonja graduated from the University of Evansville, earning her Bachelor of Science in business administration. She earned her Master of Business Administration in finance from the University of New Mexico.

Outside of work, Tonja enjoys spending time with her family. They enjoy hiking the trails in New Mexico and playing tennis.
