Kristen Lehrer is an endowment and foundation financial advisor based in Raleigh, NC.

With more than 20 years of experience advising large nonprofit organizations, Kristen brings expertise and a sophisticated understanding of the sector. She specializes in aligning investment strategy with organizations’ mission, values, and long-term objectives.

Prior to joining CAPTRUST in 2026, Kristen served as a senior philanthropic advisor at Wells Fargo Bank and held various roles at First Citizens Bank. She began her career with Merrill Lynch.

Kristen graduated from East Carolina University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Outside of work, Kristen enjoys staying active and reading. She also has two children that keep her on her toes.
