Karen Casillas is an institutional retirement plan advisor based in Westlake Village, CA.

Karen joined CAPTRUST in January 2012 as vice president and financial advisor and is responsible for providing retirement plan advisory services to corporate and nonprofit fiduciaries and fiduciaries of endowments and foundations. She is highly motivated to create quality fiduciary processes for clients that result in great outcomes for the committee, company, and their employees.

Prior to joining the firm, Karen has worked in a variety of leadership positions within Fidelity Investments, American Funds, Voya, The Boston Company, Morgan Stanley, and NFP. She has passed a number of FINRA exams and is certified as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) by the Center for Fiduciary Studies in association with the University of Pittsburgh Katz School of Business.

When she is not in the office or with a client, Karen enjoys cooking, reading, volunteering in her community, and, most of all, spending time with her family. Karen is an active Sustainer Patroness for the National Charity League Vista Robles Chapter and Treasurer for the Assistance League of Ventura County Las Patronas Auxiliary.
