Christina Burroughs is a wealth management financial advisor based in Phoenix, AZ.
Christina came to CAPTRUST in 2020 from MRA Associates – an independent advisory firm with the prestigious CEFEX certification from the Centre for Fiduciary Excellence – where she served as the managing partner in charge of the private client practice and on the firm’s Executive, Management, and Investment Committees, and Governing Board. Christina is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional. Christina helped design MRA Associates’ industry atypical structure to promote many colleagues into partnership roles, recognizing their contributions to the firm, as well as creating long-term continuity for clients.
Prior to MRA Associates, Christina was the president of GenSpring Family Office’s Phoenix office, a $2+B practice serving the needs of families and charitable organizations, after Inlign Wealth Management’s merger into GenSpring’s national footprint in 2008.
Recognized as a leader in the industry and community for more than 20 years, Christina provides comprehensive wealth management and investment advice to individuals, families and their related entities and leads the Phoenix office’s effort on behalf of all private clients, as well as participates in the firm’s design of Family Office services. Christina has spoken and been published on the topic of capital sufficiency and goals-based planning.
Christina lives in Phoenix with her husband and their two children. She loves to travel, is a voracious reader, and is grateful for having been born to Midwestern ranching families who taught her a lot about community, family, and work.
