Dennis W. Stavinoha is a wealth management financial advisor based in Houston, Texas.
Dennis joined CAPTRUST in 2024 from Wealth Covenant Group and serves as principal. He brings more than 35 years of financial and client services experience. Dennis specializes in financial planning, investment management, asset protection, and estate and tax planning.
Prior to founding Wealth Covenant Group in 2018, Dennis operated Dennis Stavinoha, Inc. a wealth management firm. He spent the first eight years of his career in banking, where he last served as a commercial loan officer.
Dennis earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University, attending through a football scholarship. He was an offensive lineman and was inducted into the SFA Athletic Hall of Fame. He volunteered as a youth football coach in the Spring Branch Memorial Sports Association for 24 years.
Outside of work, Dennis enjoys spending time with his wife, Marsi, his dogs Lucy and Roxy, and engaging in activities such as golfing, boating, and travel. At his church, Dennis serves as chair on the endowment committee.
