Jimmy Suppelsa is a wealth management financial advisor based in Boston.
Jimmy joined the firm in early 2025. After more than 20 years as a tech executive, Jimmy now specializes in helping tech executives optimize their financial portfolios and stock options (or other long-term incentive structures) to improve their financial outcomes. He helps individuals and families achieve financial balance and independence and his specialties include equity stock option planning, minimizing taxes, and maximizing long-term success.
Before joining CAPTRUST, Jimmy served as chief revenue officer at Touchplan, a construction SaaS technology company. Prior to that, he enjoyed a 20-year career at FactSet, a data and analytics platform for institutional money management firms. As an early employee, he took on many different leadership roles in customer success, product development, and sales management as the company grew to 10,000 employees and $1 billion in revenue.
Jimmy also cofounded and served as COO of Best Credit Data, Inc., a municipal bond evaluated pricing company that creates end of day evaluated prices used to value portfolio holdings or modeling.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in finance and management information systems from Boston College in 1994. He received his CFA designation from the CFA Institute in 1999.
Outside the office, Jimmy is involved with two Boston charities; the annual Hyannis Port Jimmy Fund Classic for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and Junior Achievement of Greater Boston, a charity focusing on financial literacy for underserved youth/communities. He enjoys hanging out with this wife and sons, as well as golfing and fishing in his downtime.
