Lil Mercer joined CAPTRUST in 2022 and serves as a vice president and financial advisor.  She has been in the industry since 1990, and tax and insurance planning has become a prominent part of planning for clients to help them achieve their financial goals. She helps clients transition through life changes such as Medicare and Social Security decisions, divorce, inheritance, and death of a spouse. Because of her comprehensive background in insurance, banking, brokerage, investment management, and financial planning, Lil takes a holistic approach to helping clients.

Lil holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Appalachian State University. Outside of work, she enjoys golfing, playing tennis, and supporting nonprofit organizations like the Wrightsville Beach Foundation and the Paws4people Foundation.
