Mission or Values: Which Comes First?
To chart a course, it helps to have a compass....
Principal,
Financial Advisor
CAPTRUST welcomed Andrew in 2021, and he currently serves as a principal and financial advisor working with endowments, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals. Andrew is a lawyer by education, an entrepreneur by avocation, and an advisor by disposition. Nothing makes him happier than analyzing a complex problem encountered by a person or institution and helping them create a plan to solve the problem.
Andrew joined CAPTRUST from Crescent Capital Consulting, where he served as the president and a senior investment management consultant. The first half of his career involved serving as a volunteer on investment committees for endowments and foundations while working as a digital media entrepreneur. He then became a professional advisor in 2007 and in 2010 he co-founded an investment advisory firm to create a platform for growth.
A graduate of Bates College and Tulane University School of Law, Andrew is an active philanthropist, sitting on numerous nonprofit boards. He serves as chairman of Ochsner Health, an emeritus trustee of Tulane University where he chairs the endowment committee, chairman of the RosaMary Foundation, and chairman and treasurer of the Mary Freeman Wisdom Foundation.
Outside of work, Andrew likes wing shooting and traveling, as well as enjoying food and wine with his wife, family, and friends.
