Grant Verhaeghe is senior director, institutional portfolios practice leader at CAPTRUST based in Raleigh, NC.

Grant joined CAPTRUST in 2010 and specializes in developing customized and innovative services for defined benefit plans, endowments and foundations, and institutional asset pools. He has oversight over the CAPTRUST’s OCIO team, portfolio construction, research, and consulting team, actuarial team, institutional performance reporting team, and nonqualified executive benefits team.

Prior to joining the firm, Grant served as a vice president at Aon Investment Consulting, where he served as a financial advisor for institutional clients including retirement plans, endowments and foundations, health care organizations, and institutional asset pools. He has worked in the industry since 1998.

Grant earned his Bachelor of Arts in economics and industrial relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Grant lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife and two children, where they enjoy exploring anything that combines fitness and the outdoors.
