Lauren King is a wealth management financial advisor based in Melville, NY.

Lauren joined CAPTRUST in 2026 when Compass Advisors joined the firm. Before joining Compass Advisors, Lauren worked with high-net-worth clients and institutional accounts at Brown Brothers Harriman and conducted equity research covering the telecommunications and cable/satellite industries at Sanford C. Bernstein.
Lauren earned her Bachelor of Science in applied economics and management from Cornell University. She also earned her Master of Business Administration from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys cheering on her four children at their sports events, spending winters skiing with her family in Vermont, staying active through Peloton workouts, playing tennis year-round and during the summers competing on a league team and participating in book clubs.
