Doug Swope is a wealth management financial advisor based in Devon, PA.

Doug began his career in financial services in 1986 with Delaware Investments in Philadelphia. He spent 13 years working at Smith Barney. There, he was a member of the Director’s Council and served on the Portfolio Management Group’s Advisory Council. In 2009, he co-founded Stillwater Capital Advisors, serving as the managing director. He joined CAPTRUST in 2026 when Stillwater joined the firm.

Doug earned his Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Richmond’s E. Claiborne Robins School of Business.

Outside of work, Doug enjoys spending time with family, hiking, boating, and traveling.
