Rob Godwin is a wealth management financial advisor based in Montgomery, AL.

Rob joined CAPTRUST in 2020 from Welch Hornsby, an independent, fee-only investment advisory firm, where he served as a client advisor for high-net-worth individuals for more than 20 years.

In his role as principal, financial advisor for CAPTRUST, Rob works closely with high-net-worth individuals and families, endowments, foundations, corporate and municipal retirement plans, and other institutional entities to champion on financial goals.

Rob began his career with Aldridge, Borden & Co. in Montgomery, Alabama, where he earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Auburn University.

Rob is married to the former Beth Vice. They are the parents of two daughters.
