Doug Jenkins is a wealth management financial advisor based in Leawood, KS.

Doug joined CAPTRUST in 2022 from Frontier Wealth Management and serves as a vice president and financial advisor. Prior to joining the firm, Doug began his financial services career in Chicago, Illinois, with an internship at Goldman Sachs. He then joined a high-net-worth team at Merrill Lynch as a private wealth analyst focusing on investments. After two years, he joined Northern Trust as an account manager within their Global Family & Private Investment Offices Group.

Doug graduated from the University of Kansas with Bachelor of Science degrees in finance and accounting. He represented the university as a finance scholar and completed a study abroad program at the London School of Economics, where he completed his studies in alternative investments. Before transferring to the University of Kansas, he spent two years playing junior college baseball at Fort Scott Community College in Fort Scott, Kansas.

Doug has earned the designations of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®).

He and his wife, Dallas, live in the Kansas City area. Outside of work, Doug enjoys all sports and loves spending time with his family and their goldendoodle, Lenny.
